The technology architect is a bright young computer engineer/scientist from New York University, Leonid Litvin. His ideas were referred to a development team consisting of eight technologists (including Ph.Ds and various highly notable academics) and a team of seven linguists who worked together to build the technology. The team is spread out through several locations including United States, Russia and Israel.  

SCaNspect also hired domain experts to work with the team in achieving greatest accuracy in recognizing linguistic elements specific to particular domains.

The CEO of SCaNspect is Yuri Rapoport, a commercial lawyer from Australia (now based in Israel) who was responsible for putting the team together, and raising sufficient funding to take the technology to where it is today.
